PooCrew is operating as Poo Crew under Media Matters IOW on the Isle of Wight, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the information you give us.
What we collect
When you reserve or enquire, we collect your name, email address, phone number, property address and postcode, details about your dogs and garden, access arrangements, bin location and any instructions you give us.
Why we use it
- To manage your reservation, plan collection rounds and provide the service (contract).
- To match your £10 deposit payment and process refunds (contract and legal obligations).
- To send occasional PooCrew news, only if you opted in (consent — you can withdraw at any time).
Payments
Deposits are paid through Monzo's secure payment page, where Media Matters IOW is shown as the recipient. We never see or store your card details.
Sharing and storage
Your details are stored securely and are only accessible to PooCrew's administrator. We don't sell your data. We use trusted service providers to host our website and records.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records for as long as you're a customer and for up to six years afterwards for accounting purposes. Unconverted enquiries are deleted within 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or withdraw marketing consent. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
